Charity Navigator: NCFJE is 4-Star Organization
Brooklyn, NY--In a letter dated January 30, 2009 Mr. Ken Berger, President and CEO of Charity Navigator congratulated the NCFJE on achieving a 4-star rating for sound fiscal management.
In the letter, Mr. Berger stated that the NCFJE earned the rating "for its ability to efficiently manage and grow its finances," and that the orgnaization "demonstrates to the public that its worthy of their trust."
NCFJE Chairman, Rabbi Shea Hecht said "this recognition is tremendous encouragement for our staff and volunteers. We're all looking forward to growing and improving the organization in all respects."
NCFJE runs a variety of camps, schools and humanitarian charities. The organization was founded in 1941 by Rabbi Yosef Yitzchok Schnersohn, to provide free Jewish education to public school students.
