cuffs.jpgThose who are incarcerated are without a means of acting on their own behalf. For an inmate who maintains a Jewish lifestyle, the feeling of helplessness and futility run especially deep.

NCFJE has a successful record of helping Jewish inmates to obtain kosher food, religious artifacts and by acting as an advocate for their needs and those of their families.

NCFJE has also worked extensively with local and state Corrections and Probations agencies to help Jewish prisoners reintegrate into their respective communities in a constructive way.
