Operation Survival is the first program to combat alcoholism and substance abuse in both the Jewish and African-American communities in Brooklyn.

Operation Survival provides information to educators, social service and medical professionals, clergy and community agencies. The program features a referral service for parents and educators, networking with other agencies and hospitals, classes and seminars in preventive measures, educational seminars for co-dependants, individual counseling for high-risk children and a prevention program in the schools.
